- Once the consultant sends the response for the RFI, the main contractor will be able to see the status of the RFI in his inbox as ‘PENDING REVIEW’. On opening the RFI, if the main contractor is satisfied with the information they have received in response from the consultant, they can choose to close the RFI.
- The main contractor can choose to attach a comment/message while closing the RFI.
- The overall status of the RFI is now changed to ‘CLOSED’.
- If the main contractor is not satisfied with the information they have received in response from the consultant, they can choose to cancel the RFI and there is no further action pending from the consultant. The main contractor will have to create a new RFI to reinitiate any further discussion.
